I had hoped to combine these poles with an Aldi Workzone wire shelving unit. Unfortunately the outer diameter of the screw threads (male end) on the Aldi poles is *slightly* larger than these, so the poles can't fit together. But the Aldi shelves fit fine on these poles... you could combine these poles, with shelves from the Aldi Workzone line, and they should work fine.
