Despite a bit of a hiccup with the original order -- a defective part, they quickly sent be a whole new unit!One person can put this together but its a bit of a challenge due to the weight. It goes together rather intuitively and I didn't need the instructions. It took maybe 30 minutes and I'm not the most handy person. IThat was the easy part. Now I have to move all my fles to it. This thing is sturdy as a rock.I purchased a number of these units for my office. They are extremely well built and sturdy, and how can you beat the price with free delivery ? You can't. They are 40% more expensive anywhere else [i.e., Office Depot, etc.] and you have to pay shipping [which is expensive] because they don't carry them in stock - you have to order them online anyway. Hint: You may want to go to your local hardware store [i.,e., Home Depot] to have the shelves made out of plywood board. It is a lot less expensive than the particle board that is sold by the mfr.
